Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali heartbr0ken after losing his mother on New Year’s Day (IMAGES)

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali has been left devastated by the loss of his mother on New Year’s Day after losing his dad a few months ago.

In a post shared on Twitter (X), the goalkeeper announced the death of his mother, writing a brief but heartbreaking message; “RIP mom” and describing 2025 as the “worst year of my life already.”

The news was made a little more than a month after Nwabali lost his father, Godspower Onyekam Abali, Chief Onyeogazrim 1 of Okwuzi, who died in mid-November at the age of 67.

The athlete has received condolence messages from admirers who have expressed their sympathies.
